Nootan Varsh Abhinandan to all readers of Sangh Prerna!

I remember an old song from the film ‘Subah kā tārā, “ Gayā andherā huā ujālā, chamakā chamakā subah kā tārā”. This is the sentiment of all of us where Corona effects are going in the backdrop and we are entering into the dawn of new life. I can’t imagine a better Varsh Pratipada than this year. So, Let us welcome this year with full of hope. 

Our Swayamsevaks and Sevikas worked tirelessly to guide and rescue our brethren safely from the war zone in Ukraine. It is the best news for me of last year. Sewa karyakartas responded very quickly to initiate the helpline and some of us even went to the borders to help out. Our karyakartas in Ukraine organised food and transport for all students with the help of their friends. We even organised transport for Indian and other international students. I don’t see it as a special move; as it is our intrinsic nature. It didn’t take a second to extend the helping hands for our African relatives. 

Subhashit of this month gives a right direction towards the nature of our Sewa karyakartas. “For a generous person, wealth is insignificant. For a brave person, death has no value. A selfless person places more importance to society than own family.”

We will read some interesting articles for self-pondering in this issue. We may or may not agree with the views. However these will provide some food of thought. Usage of social media, mindset of NRI students, challenges youth faces in social well being are thoughts by our kishors (teens). I feel these are not just articles but the pulse of youth today. I appeal to them to continue contributing to Sangh Prerana.

The life of pujaneeya Doctor ji is an everlasting light house for us. His life is the syllabus for our thoughts, speeches and actions. One geet says, “dhyey āyā deha lekar”.

Let us make a resolution that I can step forward as a better karyakarta. I am sure this Sangh Prerana will give that impetus to us to follow the vision of Pujaneeya Doctor ji.
